Counter-terrorism police are now leading the investigation into the death of the former MP and Reform UK spokesperson Ann Widdecombe, in light of ‘new information and evidence’. A 28-year old white British man from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday.
